What is it?
Skin is always shedding dead skin cells to allow for re-growing skin. Some of these dead cells remain attached to the new skin, so when the oil travels up the hair shaft and a mix with the dead skin cells, a plug is created. This is the start of a blackhead or whitehead. When certain types of bacteria are present, the acne may escalate into a more severe form. When this happens scars can be left behind.
Hyper pigmentation is a built up concentrations of melanin in the skin (the colouring), which have formed due to unprotected exposure to the sun for long periods of time. Basically patches of skin, which have become darker in colour.
Stretch Marks are lesions which tend to form during hormonal changes, weight gain, pregnancy etc. The bodies have a elastic fibers that run deep beneath the skin, when these become damaged scars can appear.

Procedure
How it works
We use tiny micro-medical needles on the skin encouraging regeneration and repair. We use a specific medical device, a Dermaroller, which has thousands of micro-medical needle-columns, each of these columns enter into the dermis of the skin. The body will then naturally regenerate and repair the skin
All the work happens below the surface in the dermis, new collagen is formed, new skin cells are generated and blood supply is enhanced.
The process
We use an anesthetic to numb the skin making the procedure more comfortable; it will normally take around 30 minutes for the anesthetic to work.
Dermaroller procedure takes 20 – 30 minutes to complete.
It will be around 6 weeks before visible signs of regeneration and repair are seen and the process will continue over the following months, having a long lasting beauty.
We will apply Chiroxy Cream after the procedure to help soothe and calm the skin, continue to use until the redness has cleared.
Side effects
Immediately after your Dermaroller treatment your skin may feel warm and a little tight and you will look a little red. This after effect will start to reduce after a couple of hours and you will normally recover within the same day.
